Scope
Delivery and assembly of 44 pcs of touch screens in capacitive PCAP multi-touch technology in 19 „-70” sizes and execution of 2 multimedia tables 65 „and 70”. The Museum of Pan Tadeusz Ossolineum is 1500 m2 of exhibition space and 18 rooms in which seven hundred exhibits were collected, as well as over one hundred games, installations and multimedia presentations.
Videofonika had the honor to participate in this prestigious project, which included the delivery and assembly of 44 touch screens in capacitive technology for the permanent exhibition of the museum. All touch screens have been installed by our technicians in glass cases and cabinets. The difficulty of the issue consisted in the selection of an appropriate tactile technology that could detect 40 points as well as touch simultaneously and work efficiently through glass with a thickness that reaches up to 12 mm in some places. Glass elements were part of the set design, so access to them was often limited.
In addition, we provided 2 pcs of complete multimedia tables made strictly according to the architectural design. One of them consisted of a professional 70 „monitor combined with tempered glass and a touch screen detecting 40 points touch. The second one contained a 65 „monitor with the same touch screen enclosed in a unique elliptical housing with a total length of over 3m. This table contains an interactive game that will make the experience in the museum for the youngest visitors pleasant. Coordination of activities with other subcontractors responsible for the construction of the set design, Audio-Video installation and creation of multimedia content has enabled us to gain invaluable experience in the implementation of this type of projects.
